We were getting ready for the day so that we could run a few errands before my baseball game at four o'clock that afternoon.   Chandra was in the bathroom curling her hair as we were discussing the possibility and location of where and when I could pop the question.  She mention to me that she had a dream the night before where I had asked her to marry me at the Expo Center (a local home improvement store), in the tile department.  I thought in my head, let's go to the Expo Center to make her dream come true.  She went further to say that wherever it was, it needed to be "spontaneous and unexpected." 

I went around the corner to untie my tennis shoe, knowing that she ALWAYS notices. When I met her back in the bathroom to finish our discussion she immediately noticed my untied shoe.  I proceeded to bend down on one knee and tie my shoe. She hovered over my back stating, "You did that on purpose!"  I looked up at her with the ring in hand saying "What if I did, Will you be my bride?"
